Functional Description

TMS320C6000 High Performance DSPs deliver new levels of Cbased performance and cost efficiency, with low power dissipation, for broadband networks and digitized imaging applications. DSP Starter Kits are bundled with a DSK-version of TI’s eXpress DSP Code Composer Studio™ Development Tools and include a TI DSP hardware target board with on board emulation. These tools provide an excellent platform to evaluate TI devices and development tools, quickly develop prototypes, demos, and proof-of-concept applications at a very affordable getting started price.

The TMS320C6713 DSP Starter Kit (DSK) is a low-cost development platform designed to speed the development of high precision applications based on TI´s TMS320C6000 floating point DSP generation. The kit uses USB communications for true plugand- play functionality. Both experienced and novice designers can get started immediately with innovative product designs. Functional Description

The Digital Video Evaluation Kit is designed around the Texas Instrument TMS320DM355 processor which consist of an integrated video processing subsystem plus an ARM core and is available in clock speeds up to 270MHz. The DM355 includes an MPEG-4/JPEG co-processor and is optimized for portable and other low power embedded applications. The DM355 is ideal for applications such as digital cameras/camcorders, portable media players, IP network cameras, digital photo frames, video door bells, video baby monitors and many others.
